Use wireless mouse on iPad 2

My iPad 2 has been connected to a wireless bluetooth keyboard and that works fine. I use an EMR software at work that is Windows based, so I want to use the device as a mini laptop. Can I use Apple wireless mouse to connect to the iPad for do some functions? No, you can't. Mouse support would be great, but I choose for arrow keys. The Zaggmate keyboard can move the insertion point by by the arrow
