AirPlay works but AirPlay mirroring not working

My iPad 2 is running iOS 5 and my Gen 2 Apple TV is on 4.3. I have done update on ATV and it is absolutely up to date. The AirPlay works fine but I can't find any option for mirroring. When I double tap your home screen on iPad and swipe left to right, the airplay icon is there but no mirroring.
