Enable iOS 5.0 multitasking gestures on iPad 1

iOS 5 includes many multitasking gestures to help you get around even quicker on your iPad. But my iPad 1 running iOS 5 doesn't have any gesture setting and the multitasking gestures is not working. How to enable this feature?It seems it's not supported on iPad 1st generation. That's unreasonable.
